Irvine City Council Race Is Not Over

Congratulations to Farrah Khan and Tammy Kim who have secured a seat on the Irvine City Council. Mayor Farrah Khan will serve a two-year term. Councilmember Tammy Kim will serve a four-year term. However, the race for the 2nd and 3rd place city council seats is not over.

The city council race has narrowed down to three candidates battling for the two remaining seats: Larry Agran, Mike Carroll, and Lauren Johnson-Norris. The 3rd place winner will be serving the remaining two years of Farrah Khan’s City Council term and will need to run again in the 2022 Midterm Election.

The next update by the OC Registrar of Voters will be tonight at 5PM. Click here for election results.
