Planning Commission to Consider More Homes, Parks, and Day Care Site Near Asphalt Plant
This Thursday, October 21, 2021, the Planning Commission will be deciding whether or not to approve an additional 520 homes, two private neighborhood parks, and a day care site, near the All American Asphalt plant despite years of resident concerns over emissions and odors.
According to the staff report, there are currently 3,439 units entitled or constructed within the planning area. With the additional 520 future dwelling units under consideration, the total residential development in PA 1 would be 3,959 units, which is within the dwelling unit cap.
Should our city approve additional homes near the All American Asphalt plant? Weigh in this Thursday at 5:30PM.
