A series of community workshops in Irvine is scheduled where you can learn more about the changes to voting and ways to get involved in the current local planning efforts. Mark your calendars!

Upcoming Irvine Community Workshops:

June 17: Irvine Civic Center, 6 pm – 8 pm
June 19: Quail Hill Community Center, 6 pm – 8 pm

The California Voter’s Choice Act is a new law that will modernize elections in California. Orange County is transitioning from the traditional polling place model to the vote center model in 2020, and it will involve significant changes to the voting and elections process allowing greater flexibility and convenience for voters.

This new election model allows voters to choose how, when, and where to cast their ballot by:

  • Mailing every voter a ballot
  • Expanding in-person early voting
  • Allowing voters to cast a ballot at any vote center within their county
